Purpose, Being, and Love

Purpose is not about serving. It is about being. Purpose is what you do, not why you were created.

"God so loved the world that He gave His only Son." This is why you exist: you were created because of Love, from Love, and for Love. You are here for relationship; to be loved and to give love.

The world has it backwards. It tells us that what we do makes us who we are, but the truth is the opposite: who you are causes you to do what you do. God is for you and with you before He ever releases you into action.

He doesn't make us overcomers so we can do great things. He makes us overcomers so we can be who we truly are in Him. In this becoming, we discover Him and realize we are Beloved. He has knit us together in His image.

The world insists we must earn love by loving first. This is not true. You are love because you abide with the One who is Love. Before you ever proved yourself, before you accomplished anything, the Creator chose you.

Your identity flows from being beloved, not from your performance. You belong before you achieve. You are treasured before you produce. This is the foundation of all true purpose.
